Now is the time for learning and development teams to be defining future trends in learning, according to Nick Shackleton-Jones, director, online and informal learning at BP.
Shackleton-Jones, talking at the end of the Learning Technologies 2014 conference, said the opportunity for L&D to shape its own future was both exciting and terrifying and that L&D should look to other business disciplines for inspiration on developing new approaches to learning.
