This week we will be at the CIPD’s L&D Show at London’s Kensington Olympia. This year’s event has a new name but looks at first glance as if it has the same format of conference case studies and exhibition hall seminars.
To give you a flavour of the topics being covered we have produced a word cloud of the conference sessions and exhibition seminar sessions.

Whether you are in the conference or the exhibition you are going to see similar topics being discussed. Interestingly, you will need to go to the exhibition seminars to hear anything on the Tin Can API.
We’ll be heading to sessions on neuroscience and the one (yes one) session on MOOCs.
The CIPD uses the show to launch its annual learning survey and other L&D related reports so definitely keep an eye on the press release page of the CIPD site, which is here. These reports are well worth keeping an eye on as they tend to have a future focus on L&D practice.
