Consulting giant Deloitte has bought HR and talent management analyst Bersin and Associates.
In a press release, Deloitte says the acquisition will enable the company to provide a broader range of HR research and benchmarking tools for its clients.
Andrew Vaz, principal and chief innovation officer at Deloitte Consulting, said: “Adding Bersin’s unique portfolio of research-based offerings to Deloitte’s leading Human Capital practice is a game-changing moment that will help our clients unlock the power of tools like analytics to help inform new strategies that will help set the bar for the industry.”
The Bersin team will form a business unit within Deloitte Human Capital practice – its name changes to Bersin by Deloitte. Writing on the announcement, Bersin CEO, Josh Bersin said: As part of Deloitte Consulting LLP, we will be able to enhance our growth, expand our global reach, and deepen our relationships with clients. This acquisition gives us growth capital, expanded management depth, and ability to leverage and work with Deloitte to help you solve your HR, learning, and talent management challenges.”
Bersin provides research-based information and tools across six areas of HR: L&D, talent management, leadership, talent acquisition, HR, and HR tools and technology.
