Crowd colouredJust about every day I find myself embroiled in discussions about fundamentals of learning, the nature of knowledge and the processes of education. It comes with the territory of working as an academic in a university, and I expect to do it much of the time. When I’m not talking about learning, I’m reading about it, researching it, thinking about it, and writing about it.

 

Sam Burrough and I are running a MOOC on and as we research the topic we find that there maybe emerging model to describe the impact of digital culture on learning but that these are emergent. This is a great – and well referenced – article by which acts as a good starting point for anyone trying to establish exactly what social learning is.
